Review of School Ties (1992) by Andy L — 27 Jul 2010
This film is a forgotten delight, it suffers from the fact that it came after Dead Poet's Society, but still a great film in it's own right.
Brendan Fraser is fantastic alongside with a young Matt Damon, Chris O'Donnell & Ben Affleck who all add goodness to this film. They all come together to produce a film that looks into particular themes that does plague our world and then to have not a system run by teachers but students to consider how to judge was just a refreshing way to end this film.
I really enjoyed it, I was under the impression because I hadn't heard of it that it was going to be a let down but it surprised me and delivered!
