Review of School for Scoundrels (2006) by David L — 21 Jan 2008
A mess from beginning to end. It doesn't know what sort of a film it's trying to be. It feels heavily truncated and Thornton seems genuinely bored by the whole experience. You get the sense there was a far better film somewhere buried deep inside but it just got lost.
it's also uncomfortably violent at times and the targets feel horribly out of place.
