Review of School Daze (1988) by Matt W — 14 Jan 2008
An odd musical, where Spike might go a bit too far in addressing various issues in the evolution of African American culture: the rise of the middle class, educating yourself, cultural identity, personal ethics.
.. in hindsight, Giancarolo Esposito's character is almost Objectivist in his pursuits. One has to wonder if that was intentional.
