Review of Schizopolis (1997) by Rob S — 13 Oct 2009
Low budget batshit awesome. Funny too. I like Soderbergh because he's so versatile as a filmmaker: he can go back to back from Schizopolis to Out of Sight, then from Che to The Girlfriend Experience.
He slides a wide spectrum. Schizopolis is the most weirdly experimental I've seen him yet, but it's a side I much liked. His comic timing as an actor is impressive too, considering this is the only film he's acted in.
