Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Jeshwanth P — 09 Dec 2012
Itzhak Stern: This list... is an absolute good. The list is life. All around its margins lies the gulf.
Oskar Schindler: Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire.
A shocking movie about cruelty and discrimination in WWII at its best. This is very touching and disturbing emotional war drama. He showed us the most horrifying crimes that are never forgotten in history of man kind. I think this movie is done in black and white to keep it original and realistic. He tried his best to show as realistic as possible and leaving to you about emotions. You can see the murders of sadistic psychopaths who killed the innocents in the name of Hitler and Nazism. Killing a Jew is privilege for them. But only one man who got his conscience right among the mad and was only hope for innocents. The cast was superb and Spielberg knows what he is doing. He selected the apt actors and got what he is looking for. The length of the movie did not bother me at all. It had me involved all the time. It really deserves all the Oscars it got. The ending was really touching. Best of Spielberg's films. A masterpiece. Everyone should watch this.Period!
Amon Goeth: Today is history. Today will be remembered.
