The scenes of the bodies being burnt on a pile, the little girl in red, the gas chamber and the "sniper" sequence, still remains as the most emotional sequences put on film other than the D-Day sequence of Saving Private Ryan.
Steven Spielberg's greatest film and the best film ever made period. This is the definition of "masterpiece".
