Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Eric M — 04 Mar 2013
Beautifully done and unflinching. I'm glad that it was done in black & white. The movie somehow depicts a restrained mastery due to the credit of not only Spielberg but Neeson and the other straight acting that is devoid of flourish or embellishment.
It is what it is and that is the point. I'm not a good enough critic to write about why this movie is so good or why I enjoyed it, but suffice to say that it deserves to be in the top ten movies of all time and is one of the most sobering films I have ever viewed.
