Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Adrián F — 11 Apr 2014
I have for many years said the Spielbergs best film and my favourite WWII film was the also brilliant "Saving Private Ryan" but after seeing this finally I know why its regarded so highly. Its a marathon at 196 mins but every fine detail was needed in depicting one of the darker sides of the Nazi uprising.
Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson) used his charm in bribing high ranking officials to get jews doomed for death and concentration camps to work for him in a factory until the war came to a close. This is based on a true story and what a good one it was.
