Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Allison K — 22 May 2014
I wish there was a way to give 5 1/2 stars. This was by far the most profoundly beautiful film that I have ever seen. There is so much to be said here, but impossible to sum it all up. The Holocaust was depicted in a brutal and gut-wrenching way, but at the same time the film was gentle and soft.
One scene in particular left me speechless for a good ten minutes. This film is perhaps the finest historical drama ever made, and will remain so for generations and generations to come.
