Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Jacob C — 15 Dec 2015
100/100 - Gripping, humbling, and touching, Schindler's List is unlike most Holocaust films because it focuses on those who lived. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are unforgettable as Oskar Schindler and Amon Goethe, respectively, and the direction is impeccable.
Realism rules, and the black-and-white picture and use of handheld cameras implies a documentary instead of a drama, making the viewer believe that this is actual WWII film instead of a major motion picture.
