Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Marco F — 04 Feb 2018
SCHINDLER'S LIST is about trying to find success in failure. If it is not one of the greatest films ever made, it is definitely the best film of the 1990's. The three leads- Neeson, Fiennes, and Kingsley- are all brilliant here all playing very different characters from one another.
This film is easily one of the most unrelentlessly horrifying and unflinchingly violent films I have ever seen. It is so brilliantly realized that the violence might actually be too much for most people to stomach.
Only a director as gifted as Steven Spielberg could do what he has done here. This film is unparalleled in its realism in this world's darkest moral period of modern history.
