Review of Schindler's List (1993) by James D — 22 Feb 2018
This movie feels like a documentary while watching it. That's how good the acting was by Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley. Having said that, not everything in the film was factual based on the real life events.
There are a couple of good articles on the Internet pointing out what was true and manufactured in the film. No film is perfect, but this one comes pretty close overall. If you have three hours to spare and you're in the mood to watch angry Nazis and German soldiers, this is a great film to watch.
This one is one of my favorite World War II films next to Saving Private Ryan, The Pianist, The Great Escape, The Bridge on the River Kwai, and The Thin Red Line. Out of all of those, Schindler's List has the best script.
