Oh my gosh. This is a really incredible film that had me in tears more than once. It's really powerful and heart-rending seeing people murdered on the spot. The fact that it is shot in black and white really adds a special quality to it.
If it weren't for the girl in the red coat and the candle flames, I'd think that it was made in the 1940s. The John Williams soundtrack is perfect.
