Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Petros T — 18 Jul 2015
"Schindler's List" is a monumentally crafted film and doesn't wane despite its three-hour duration. Spielberg handles this epic tale with a sure hand, mostly avoiding melodrama and giving room to both devastation and hope, both collective tragedy and personal characterization.
The transformation of Schindler is a fascinating one, his words towards the end of the film, when he insists he could have saved more people, a truly moving moment. It's a strong film everyone should watch at some point.
