Review of Schindler's List (1993) by Andrew T — 15 Sep 2013

Spielberg's most grown up film probably, he puts away the gimmicks, even puts away the colour stock and shoots the entire film as a document to the brutality of the Holocaust. You can criticise obviously, Fiennes in particular for me seems almost out of his depth against Neeson and Kingsley but overall the film has to be seen as a brutal success, and probably the most important entry into Spielberg's catalogue.
