Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Cheyne L — 02 May 2011
If this isn't the most spectacularly obvious Pacino promotional vehicle, than I don't know what is .. that being said, it's almost excusable considering the strength of Pacino's performance .
. the greatest moments come via the more minimalist inspired moments of his performance, deftly depicting a complex character in full depth through nuanced acting .. but beyond Pacino, the pickings are relatively slim .
. a good film but not great outside Pacino's presence ..
