Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Mark H — 02 Jul 2011
A wonderful film. Al Pacino gives a top notch performance, and finally came out with the Academy Award for best actor that was long overdue. It's almost 160 minutes long, but it gets better as it goes on.
Maybe it's easy to guess what happens by the end, but it's fantastic. I was never a fan of Unforgiven, A Few Good Men, Howard's End, or even The Crying Game. So with that said, this should have wo Best Picture award of 1992.
