Review of Scent of a Woman (1992) by Matthew E — 24 Jun 2013
The character of Frank Slade may have felt clichéd if it weren't for Pacino's thunderous performance. Whilst slightly indulgent and at times formulaic, the characters are so well drawn and the dialogue so sharp, its impossible not to get swept up in this rambling, immersive drama.
