Review of Scenic Route (2013) by Erno K — 21 Oct 2013

This movie hit me pretty hard. I see Josh Duhamel in a completely different light now. You can do as many Transformers as you like if you keep producing this kind of stuff as well. Wow.

This film had one of the most chilling scenes I have witnessed in a while, and not because of anything one would expect. I won't spoil it here, but there is a really dark turn that I did not see coming. Even before that this is an excellent movie.

I love it when someone dares to make a movie where the characters carry it by themselves. There are absolutely no special effects here, and most of the film takes place next to a deserted road. That is no easy task for any actor, but both leads are great here.

I would go as far as say this movie is profound. At least it was for me to a certain degree. Man I love it when movies make me feel this way. Awesome, awesome flick.
