Review of Scenic Route (2013) by Blake S — 28 Sep 2013

While Scenic Route is a good flick its trailers and opening give us a false perception of the plot of the movie. Now I will say this is a better Josh Duhamel flick considering his latest was the monstrosity Safe Haven.

Though better than Safe Haven I felt like Scenic Route had a lackluster ending and overall disappointing middle half. Scenic Route's opening got me pumped up for the rest of the movie but overall kind of changed its original plot and then it transformed into the generic survival movie.

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Scenic Route, I just thought the plot was about them fighting to the death but the movie skipped over that and became a Josh Duhamel version of Into The Wild.
