I'm just going to be honest. Good story, few jumpscares. Actually a kind of children's horror movie. (I mean 13 plus) Fairly little gore. And has a happy ending. There was quite little depth in the film when you realize that the film was made by Guillermo Del Toro.
Conclusion:
Nice horror film for if you like atmosphere and a great story. For the diehard horror fans it is a fairly quiet and slow film.
Overall a 7/10.
