Having missed the last few Scary Movies, I had no real expectations of this movie, which is the best way to view it. As it turned out, this is the only movie that has made me laugh out loud for some time.
If you are willing to turn off your inner PC monitor and all desire to see yourself as an intelligent, decent adult, this movie really is quite funny. It also helps to enjoy slapstick and poop humor as this movie is full of it.
It also helps to have seen all the movies being ridiculed in this film. If you saw the Black Swan and hated it, you should appreciate Scary Movie 5.
