Review of Scary Movie 5 (2013) by Abhinav B — 15 May 2014

So I really liked the original Scary Movie; enjoyed #3 quite a bit, and was okay with #2 and #4, but this one is definitely the worst of the 5. The first problem is that the basis of the film is the film: Mama, which was okay at best and definitely didn't deserve this much credit.

There are so many jokes that a few hit and are funny, but most fall flat and are stupid; I actually liked the Inception bit quite a bit. Overall I'm guessing this will be the last one, which is unfortunate as I've liked most of the Scary Movie films, but if this is what is to be expected I hope they don't make anymore.
