While there are a couple of funny jokes in this new entry of the Scary Movie franchise like parodies of Inception, Mama, Paranormal Activity Rise of the Planet of the Apes and even special appearances by Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan at the beginning of the film, Scary Movie 5 ultimately runs out of steam and uses more movie parodies to cover for it.
