Review of Scary Movie 4 (2006) by Simon-Pierre G — 23 Jan 2011
This isn't saying much, but it's not as bad as some of the other parody films coming out lately. What made this movie watchable and occasionally funny for me was Anna Farris as usual but also the guy that played Tom, the male lead of the movie.
That guy is funny; his facial expressions, his delivery, he's probably the funniest character in the series. He's a lot like Leslie Nielson (who's also in this movie) from Airplane, dead serious all the time.
Apart from him, it's the same old shit. It's getting stale, but 4 is still better than it's competitors (which is like saying dog shit smells better than elephant shit). 4/10 (Mediocre).
