Review of Scary Movie 4 (2006) by Virano 7 — 28 Aug 2009
Ok, yet another Scary Movie. This one spoofing the not so great "War of the Worlds." and Tom Cruise. There were a few other movies thrown in for comedy filler, but, Yet again, it was another laugh fest.
Some of the jokes this time around were kind of lame, but, it had some great moments. like Scarey movie 3, it also spoofed "brokeback Mountain." which pretty much stepped away from the main story line, as the 8 mile references in 3." But, at least the borkeback scenes were funny.
The unexpected twist were the references to the "Saw" movies. But, they added them in brilliantly. The only problem I had with the movie, was the minutes wasted on The phony Tom cruise and Oprah bit. About as pointless as the real thing. And yet another spoof of Michael Jacksons nose.
Other than that. I thought it was pretty good. I liked it a lot better than scarey movie 3. But, They're all good.
