Out of all modern day parody movies out there, this film is one of the original pioneers. Before the sudden influx of parody comedies like Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie, the Scary Movie series was the epitome.
This fourth installment has hilarious gags and jokes, many of which will be later recycled in different forms in later comedies. But this one is still the funniest Scary Movie out of them all, constantly spewing out gags that are sometimes funny, sometimes not.
But it DOES succeed in creating laughs, and that's rare for parody comedies like this.
