Review of Scarlet Street (1945) by Daphne M — 09 Apr 2010
Directed by Fritz Lang and was based on the 1930's French film, La Chienne and exellent performances by the three leads Edward G Robinson, Joan Bennett and Dan Dureya. It has similarities with The Woman in the Window with the same three stars.
Lang and his crew have put together a stunning looking film with great lighting and camera work (Milton Krasner is the Director of Photography) and a script filled with great dialog and quotable noir lines.
