Review of Scarface (1983) by Thedavehimself — 17 Jul 2011
One of the most overrated films of all time. For people that set out to glorify this lifestyle, there are much better films out there to be attracted towards (Goodfellas, for one). There are times it comes across like it's begging to be parodied (how often do you hear "say hello to my little friend?").
Every now and then, Oliver Stone's script shines and Al Pacino does his best, but ultimately, I believe, it falls flat.
