Review of Scarface (1983) by Rosario G — 09 May 2015
A caricature of a film. Anyone who takes De Palma's Scarface seriously is sadly mistaken and missing out on its valuable layer of irony, satire and excess in exploitation filmmaking. Enormously entertaining.
Italian American star Al Pacino puts on a hilariously memorable performance as the strung out Cuban refugee Tony Montana, a man who "pushes it to the limit.".
