Review of Scarface (1983) by Axon F — 14 May 2015
This has to be one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. Not only is the writing amazing, not only is the cast perfect, not only is the soundtrack magnificent but this movie also has a certain charm to it which always bring me back to watch time and time again.
The movie is also based off of two significant factors in history. It is based in a time when Fidel Castro deported his prisoners to America and the character Tony Montana is supposedly based off of Pablo Escobar, head one of the biggest drug cartels in south America. I bring this up because these give the movie some factual elements to it. So it's not just a badass, shoot everything 80s action movie.
If you see this movie on a streaming app or site, I'd recommend it, you will not regret it.
