Review of Scarface (1983) by Mrpajamas — 14 Jan 2021

I wanted to see Scarface mainly because it stars the legendary Al Pacino, who was born a gangster and already gave a masterful performance in the Godfather trilogy. It's no different here, and in addition to Al Pacino's outstanding performance, we have an excellent story with a great atmosphere and a luxurious soundtrack that draws you into the story.

If you liked The Godfather, it doesn't mean you'll automatically like Scarface. Unlike The Godfather, Scarface is more action-packed, which will be greeted with a smile by some, while others will have to endure the action scenes.

For me, even though Scarface is not up to Godfather's quality, it is still a great 80s gangster film that I recommend.
