Review of Scarface (1983) by Rodney M — 10 Aug 2016

Aside from Pacino, the acting is terrible. The cinematography is a joke. The effects are about as good as a high school play, and the movie drags through the middle. Not sure who was in charge of editing, but they should not have gotten a check.

Too many scenes don't even flow into the next. As a kid I loved this movie. As an adult who has scene what great movies look like; this just isn't a good movie at all. Easily the most overrated movie of the last 40 years.

Hasn't ages well either with the terrible soundtrack.
