Many concentrate on the glamor of the 'yayo'-snorting, money-burning, machine-gun-toting rebel that Tony Montana represents...but Scarface's true magic is in the epic portrayal of the pursuit of the American Dream that tarnishes and poisons the soul to the point that it cannibalizes itself and wastes away life and all that is cherished.
