Review of Scarface (1932) by Timm S — 14 Nov 2015
It Is All About Pacino, Leading The Entire Film Into A Gangster-Calamity. Locked In A Time-Warp, Miami Looks Cheap, But It Adds To The Grotty, Sleazy Style. A Story That Is Typically Violent, Abruptly In Your Face & Obviously Very Hard To Watch.
It Was Interesting To See, But I'm Not Caring To See It Again. It Goes For Way Too Long & Lingers Too Much On Orchestrated One-Shot Aftermath Scenes. It's Not A 'Classic' In My Eyes, Just A Notable Performance By A Few Key Actors / Film-Makers Ironing Out Their Craft.
