Review of Scanners (1981) by Dutch V — 16 Mar 2010
This is one of my favorite sci-fi/horror movie and it certainly brings about some interesting topics. The movie is well done and exceptionally weird. This movie uses sound to its advantage by going for long periods of long drawn high pitched noises coupled with long moments of silence to establish one of the more eerie aspects of the movie.
This movie is pretty iconic in the fact that it is referenced quite a bit in pop culture even today, and one that is a must see.
