One of the first horror movies I watched as a child. Memories of those poor people blowing up spontaneously still haunt my d dreams and that was 29 years ago. David Cornenberg shows us years before The Fly that he has the chops to do something truly remarkable if not downright messed up.
I liken him to a horror version of David Lynch. Trippy, off-the-wall and brilliant at the same time.
