Review of Scanners (1981) by Brandon S — 23 May 2010
The story was really cool, except for the stupid Star Wars-ish plot twist.The ending was pretty good too. Special effects were good too; the final confrontation was really gruesome without being too gory.
Also, they did a good job of representing their powers with the high pitch tones. I felt like I could get a headache just by watching. The acting was a major let down; the main character barely showed emotion.
The only decent acting was by Michael Ironside.
