Review of Scanners (1981) by Bane W — 25 Jan 2012

This is quite slow and hardly paces along at all. The special effects were certainly great considering the year, but it was so hard to care about anyone or anything that was going on that is was kind of a waste.

Michael Ironside certainly was the best part of this film...but they under-use him. Perhaps at the time this was groundbreaking...but in these days...not so much.
