Scanners Is Crononberg's Part Political Sci-Fi Horror-Thriller. Like Tod Browning Crononberg Has The Resources To Make His Visions Become Beliveable With Some Agenda Which Only He Knows. The Scanners Which The Title Refer To Is Of A Group Of 237 People Who Have A Strong Sense Of Telepathy, What They Can Do Is Terrifying. A Newly Found Scanner Goes Undercover To Find An Underground Scanner Movement Whose Leader Wants To Take Over The World.
Realistic,Tense & Very Atmospheric. Wonderfully Written, Directed, Produced & Casted Film.
