Review of Say It Isn't So (2001) by Dann M — 31 Aug 2016
A wacky romantic comedy, Say It Isn't So is a 90 min. incest joke by the Farrelly brothers. After falling in love Gilly Noble and Jo Wingfield discover that they're long lost siblings, leading Jo to go back to her ex-boyfriend; but when Gilly discovers that it's all been a big mistake and that he and Jo are not really brother and sister, he attempts to win her back.
Chris Klein and Heather Graham aren't bad, but the characters are poorly written. And the jokes are pretty lame and can be rather crude. While it delivers a couple of laughs, Say It Isn't So is a mess of a film that just doesn't work.
