Review of Say Anything... (1989) by Becca E — 28 Sep 2009
I actually liked this movie a lot. I don't know why I'm surprised by this fact but it was really quite good. It was realistic in some aspects. It was awkward and charming. It was beautiful and weird. I mean who doesn't want a boy you like stand outside your window holding a bombox in the air playing a romantic song. It's just a beautiful story.
"She's gone. She gave me a pen. I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen.".
"I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.".
