Review of Say Anything... (1989) by Justin T — 22 May 2011
Crowe delivers a funny script with some iconic scenes, but the character development seems lost here. The parts that Cusack has to work with are so genuine and endearing that he steals the show without doing much.
All the other characters feel like archetypes in a bumbling story of scene-to-scene filler.
