I love John Cusack. There some genuinely cute and funny moments in the film, but the storyline isn't anything special, full of little clichés and irksome bits. Cusack saves this film from being just another run of the mill 80's teen flick though and is possibly the most endearing, relatable, neurotic 80's poster boy.
Lili Taylor is pretty cool too. I kind of wish Taylor and Cusack's characters would have ended up together.
