Review of Say Anything... (1989) by Jordan T — 26 May 2014

I have to say, this movie surprised me. I have not seen many films, romance or otherwise, that paint characters that feel immediately real and outside the realms of clichés. John Cusack and Ione Skye are phenomenal as the two lovers, as well as John Mahoney as the over-bearing father.

It's a movie that flirts with clichés and toes the line, but maintains an authentic feeling that you won't find in many films.
