I'm pretty sure any female who watches this movie dreams of finding their very own Lloyd Dobler. A handsome low self esteemed simple boy who rants when he's nervous and is a complete gentleman.
The romance between him and Diane is nevery sappy or overly cheesy, which makes this classic 80's romance comedy one of the best around. Some of the scenes near the end really hit hard, and I consider it a classic.
