It's sweet, cute and everything but then yeah, that's it. I mean like there really is no serious problem or anything dramatic, of course if you mean him holding his boombox while trying to win the girl's heart back is dramatic, then maybe yeah a little bit.
Maybe Cameron Crowe is just trying to portray real life that not every love story needs to have dramatic background.
