I didn't really enjoy Saw V. I found it had too many flashbacks and the movie itself just felt like an excuse to make another Saw film. However, Saw VI was a huge improvement over the last. The story was more interesting and the twists and turns were quite intriguing.

The story is nice refresher from the original pace and nicely executed. And I'm not going to go on and on how this story reflects on whats happening on in the country with the massive shout for health care reform.

But yeah, it does. And another thing that I really enjoy about the Saw movies is the actors. They don't go for big name actors. And the ones that you've seen before or only really known on a smaller level.

That means you don't have to go oooh ahhhh mmmmm Brad Pitt and just focus on the story and character development. My two complaints is this: the traps felt uninspired except for the awesome shotgun merry-go-round.

Fucking awesome. And that this time they actually give you a surprise ending, there has been so much exposed through previous installments, you feel less than shocked when the twist is revealed. Those who remember previous Saw films will understand what I mean.

There is a lot answered this time around, near everything actually. I highly recommenced this Saw, especially if you want to give it that one last chance to see if it can be saved. Personally, I find it redeeming and if they continue with refreshing courses such as this, Saw could go on forever.
