Review of Saw VI (2009) by Alan G — 30 Oct 2010
While this is still far from the quality of the original, I will have to say that this is the best of the franchise since the 2nd film. The story line was distinct and interesting (if not somewhat politically motivated), and the "games" were memorable and gruesome. I gave up on following the continuity of the series right around film no. 3, so I would also applaud this film for not trying to re-write all of it's predecessors.
But like I said, it's nothing great. But still far from terrible.
