Review of Saw VI (2009) by Logan T — 27 Oct 2010
SAW VI takes the series to new heights with Costas Mandylor's Detective Hoffman finally taking the reigns from the long deceased Jigsaw killer. But don't worry, Tobin Bell (via endlessly enjoyable flashbacks) still has plenty of opportunity to philosophize and judge upon our twisted humanity--and dish out heaping amounts of gooey gore.
And, for a change, the victim's (Peter Outerbridge's calculating insurance adjuster--Boo! Hiss!) tale is almost as interesting as the villain's diabolical maze. SAW VI is definitely one of the best.
